WADE BAIRD

Operations / Founder

Wade brings a wealth of experience and passion to the world of action sports. As an international skydiving organizer and coach with over 8,800 skydives to his name, Wade is a distinguished figure in the skydiving community. He has achieved 12 world records and 39 state records, and his remarkable career includes being a two-time world team member and winning six national skydiving medals.

With over twenty-three years of experience, Wade began his career at Microsoft, where he spent 14 years and received awards for Quality, Customer Service, and Leadership. Wade is dedicated to solid engineering practices, quality, and solving interesting problems, all while maintaining a strong customer focus.

Wade's dedication to excellence and his deep connection to the action sports world inspired him to create PHRESHCOINS with Benjamin. His goal is to celebrate the bonds formed by teams of athletes who push the limits of what's possible.

BENJAMIN FORDE

Creative Director / Founder

Benjamin Forde is an award-winning creative director and CEO of FORDESIGN, Inc. and PHRESHAIR. With over 30 years of international experience across the UK, France, Asia, Latin America, and the United States, he has collaborated with high-profile clients in Cinema, Television, The Arts, Aviation, Sports, and Extreme Sports.

Benjamin's passion lies in upholding the integrity of brands, ensuring every project is meticulously crafted to perfection. As CEO of FORDESIGN, Inc., a creative studio now specializing in brand identity, he believes in the power of tailored, finely crafted visual execution. He has led the creation and launch of new brands, repositioned established companies, and developed multi-touch-point advertising campaigns, combining strategy and design to create distinctive identities for companies aiming to stand out in a contemporary landscape.

In addition, Benjamin is the creator of PHRESHAIR, an applied branding agency specializing in marketing materials and goods for extreme sports businesses. Phreshair has earned recognition for producing bespoke garments, particularly custom jerseys, widely sold to militaries and drop zones globally. Benjamin has been an integral part of the skydiving community for 25 years, completing well over 5,000 jumps. He is also an avid rebreather tech diver and cave dive explorer, demonstrating his adventurous spirit and commitment to pushing boundaries both professionally and personally.

Our Story

As 2024 began, Wade reflected on the teams and events he had been a part of over the years. He wished there was a way to see daily reminders of their shared camaraderie, victories, and motivational push in a compact, yet stylish spot.

After a few months, he stumbled upon the idea of commemorative challenge coins. The first event he made them for was the Head Up Sequential World Record, and they were an instant hit with everyone! After the big success of producing them for the Vertical Sequential World Record he had a good handle on the engineering, logistics, and business side of the project, but he knew he needed help in the visually creative, marketing, and further business experience. He immediately knew the best person to team up with: Benjamin Forde from PHRESHAIR.

The match was perfect. Benjamin’s expertise in marketing, branding, and creative vision complemented Wade’s vision, drive, and engineering expertise. Together, Wade and Benjamin prove to be an elite team, perfectly complementing each other’s strengths. Their collaboration showcased the power of combining creative vision, business acumen, and a shared dedication to quality and customer service, resulting in a venture that celebrates the spirit of adventure and the importance of teamwork.
